Service Advisor Overview: As an Automotive Service Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth vehicle maintenance and repair processes. From greeting customers to coordinating service appointments and providing technical assistance, your expertise will keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Welcome customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and inquiries regarding vehicle performance and history.
- Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, costs, and timelines.
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process and address any additional questions or concerns.
Service Coordination:
- Schedule appointments for vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
- Prioritize service requests based on urgency and customer preferences.
- Prepare accurate repair orders and documentation.
Sales and Upselling:
- Recommend additional services based on vehicle condition and customer preferences.
- Explain the benefits of recommended services to customers.
- Promote special offers and maintenance plans to enhance customer value.
- Process payments and arrange financing options as needed.
Technical Assistance:
- Assist customers with technical inquiries and troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Collaborate with technicians to clarify service requirements and address concerns.
- Provide basic technical information and guidance to customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability: Saturdays are mandatory; the dealership is closed on Sundays.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Bilingual is a plus!
