What You’ll Do
- Work closely with production/shipping/customers to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment driving a heavy truck and trailer
- Must be able to operate heavy truck (typically with either semi-trailer or heavy-duty trailer verified by external examiner)
- Must have forklift experience to coordinate the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers
- Have good listening skills and the ability to work independently
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and Autoliv facilities
- Availability to work on a late shift Monday – Friday, 8:45 pm – 5:00 am
- Must have current CDL Class A
- Must be HAZMAT certified
- Current driver’s license (Heavy duty truck driving experience required)
- Current DOT Medical card required
- Must have clean driving record, verified by current DMV report
- Applicant must not have any disciplinary action during the previous six months or be currently on probationary status.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Must submit to be fingerprinted and background checks
- Must have verifiable driving record from prior employer
- Must complete 49CFR training
- Forklift certified
- Must be willing to work overtime and off hours when needed
