Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing administrative tasks such as preparing and filing legal documents, handling bankruptcy correspondence, and communicating with bankruptcy courts, trustees and attorneys. Team members in this role must be able to evaluate cases, document accounts, solve problems, and communicate effectively. This position is required to follow company guidelines and regulatory compliance while working to obtain individual and departmental goals.

Essential Job Functions / Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and update accounts
• Document all actions appropriately
• Communicate location information to the appropriate parties
• Evaluate accounts for referral to external servicing partners
• Other job duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a bankruptcy administrative support role
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the civil litigation process
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a collection’s or administrative support role
• Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) training and knowledge
• Intermediaete Microsoft Office suites skills
• Experience in cloud-based file sharking applications
• Experience with PDF editing applications
• Experience with tools such as Lexis Nexis/Accurint, TLO, Thomson Reuters Clear, PACER

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suites skills
• Software Proficiency
• Project Management Experience
• Leadership experience
