Family-owned Dealer group seeking Service Lane Manager

A family-owned dealer group in the Rockford area has an opening for an experienced Service Lane Manager. We are a high-volume multiline service department. Candidates must have strong leadership qualities to motivate a team and hold team members accountable for performance and world class CSI.

Essential Duties:

Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.

Work with service writers to make sure all goals, CSI and RO’s are being closed on daily basis.

Handle all customer complaints immediately and according to customer guidelines.

Facilitates and/or conducts technical training and sends employees to appropriate training and schools as needed.

Work with BDC to ensure all appointments and follow-ups are being done.

Maintain safe work environment Other tasks as assigned.

What are the requirements for this job?

Must have Automotive Service Lane Experience

Technical automotive knowledge

Proven, Strong leadership and motivational skills

High volume mentality

Ability to set and achieve targeted goals

Process driven

Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills

Organization and follow-up skills

Valid in-state driver’s license. Have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
