SUMMARY

The Release / Delivery Product Manager will contribute to the AUTOPAY business, technologies, and systems by collaborating with team members, organizing releasable work throughout the sprint, releasing artifacts, monitoring releases, managing the ongoing release pipeline with Product Owners and Development Team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAY’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Execute, Enhance, and maintain AUTOPAY’s software release process
  • Coordinate, manage, track, and communicate releasable work.
  • Monitor, maintain and investigate the health and performance of releases
  • Understand, document, and enhance the release process.
  • Collaboratively work with team members in managing and releasing features/bugs in a sprint.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Work within the product and design teams on a variety of platforms and products
  • Adapt to business requests and requirements to meet company goals.
  • Continue to learn and grow your craft.
  • Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of six (3) years of experience in agile software development environment as a software developer, product owner, QA engineer, or related function
    • Experience with various tools and technologies, including Git (Github/Gitlab), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Circle, Codebuild, etc.), Jira, Log Monitoring (SumoLogic, Splunk)
    • Demonstrated understanding related to container-based software applications and lambda-based applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand requirements for complex feature sets.
    • Proficient with a wide arsenal of software tools, including Git, Development IDEs, Jira, Insomnia/ Postman, and more
    • Usage of AWS and awareness of the plethora of capabilities provided.
  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to speak read and write fluent English. Must possess exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, presentation and collaboration skills. Must be self-motivated, detailed-oriented, able to define ideas down to a specification level. Must be able to drive projects, debate the merits of approaches, and work effectively with others.
  • Reasoning Ability: Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution, consensus-building skills.
  • Analytical: Demonstrated ability to measure and track results of work.  Including defining key success metrics for projects, incorporating measurable business objectives, revenue optimization, and client experience best practices.
  • Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.

COMPENSATION

Starting annual pay range: $100,000 - $125,000 depending on relevant experience, education, skills, and abilities.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
