SUMMARY: The Marketing Analyst impacts growth of the business by supporting the marketing organization and other departments in analyzing marketing, sales, catalog mailing data, and sales results. This position will create and execute the targeting, segmentation, and list strategies via Summit Racing’s catalog and all catalog-related formats. This individual will determine optimal circulation to achieve print strategy revenue targets, while maximizing efficiencies. They will also forecast campaign results, track performance against projections, and modify future efforts to achieve revenue goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: • Analyze sales and revenue results from catalogs – both mailed and digital • Construct reports and dashboards using appropriate programs given specific requests and circumstances • Direct the execution of the circulation plan for all catalog mailings, including list maintenance, targeting/segmenting house lists (and third-party, as needed), designing tests, and executing plans with list service provider. • Recommend new (or changes to) strategies, processes, and systems based on insights and findings of sales and marketing results. • Track and analyze program results and list performance, share with colleagues, and incorporate into future testing • Create reports for senior management forecasting and monitoring results, including a summary report of results for each catalog mailing, including reflecting outcome of any tests conducted. Formulate recommendations for future catalog plans based on findings. • Generate annual print expense budget spreadsheets based on provided CPP expense projections • Provide detailed plan to immediate supervisor, department manager, and printer to ensure that all catalog versions are executed to specifications and delivered to the proper audience • Recommend strategies for prospecting / new customer acquisition and retention. • Participate in company initiatives where data and analytical knowledge is required. • Support various departments within in the Marketing group (as needed) regarding requests for data analysis unique to specific departmental requests or project needs. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • 4-year degree in business, statistics, computer science, or related analytical field. • Minimum 2-3 years of experience providing data analysis and insights; marketing and sales experience preferred. • Experience with MicroStrategy, Toad Analytics (or similar data processing and analysis programs) required; experience with Google Analytics 360 beneficial.
