The Accreditation, Certification, and Mitigation (ACM) Analyst provides analytical, operational and project management experience in support of the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC.)
JNTC’s portfolio includes 37 programs and 36 sites which support the operational exercises conducted across the six Services to include National Guard and Reserve. Operational Exercises in the JNTC portfolio include the National Training Center (NTC), Composite Training Unit Exercise (C2X), Marine Air/Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Warfighting Exercise (MWX), Blue/Red/Green Flags, Space Flag, Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Raven, Global Medic, Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), Fleet Synthetic Training (FST), Sage Eagle, Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC), and Northern Strike.
Position is part of the Service Joint Training Division (SJTD) staff and will work within the Accreditation and Certification Branch.
SJTD operates under the Joint Staff, J7 Directorate. SJTD manages the JNTC portfolio by identifying and mitigating joint training issues at the Service training program level to meet Combatant Commanders’ needs through an evaluation and assessment program, the JNTC process. The JNTC process assists with prioritizing shortfalls and implementing solutions to ensure joint force objectives are achieved through continuous engagement with stakeholders.
Shortfalls are assessed through Certification Functional Areas (CFAs) and Elements of Joint Context (EJCs).
CFAs: Program Management, Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM), Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Integration, Training Feedback, After Action Review (AARs), OPFOR/SITFOR, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support and Environmental Management.
EJCs (Accreditation): Forces (training audience), Command and Control, Event Control, OPFOR (Peer and Near Peer Threat,) Trainer Support, Scenario, Academic Support, Joint Doctrine and Techniques, Tactics, Procedures (TTPs), All Domain and Global Integration, Feedback/ AAR. All EJCs will be analyzed with a Systems “overlay.”
The ideal candidate will be an E-7 / O4 or above with 10 or more years of successful military leadership experience with time served in a Joint environment. They will have worked within and across dynamic organizational structures and with senior officers in the planning and execution of joint operations and training.
