What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant - Part-Time position at AutoZone?
We are in pursuit of initiative-taking, experienced, and personable, Part-Time Leasing Consultant (Agent, Specialist) to join our team of professionals! This position has the potential to earn over $1000 in commissions per month!
On any given day you will do most or all of the following:
- Responding to potential resident's interest for rental at one of our communities, office, in-person and via digital platforms.
- Showing made ready apartment homes, answering questions, and finalizing terms of leases.
- Establishing resident's expectations for security deposits, procedures for rent and amenities that will be part of the lease.
- Preparing potential resident's background checks, including reference letters, rental history, income verification and lease application.
- Properly executing all terms of a lease and taking needed steps in the case of a defaulting tenant.
- Maximize occupancy through sales techniques and customer service.
- Assist in community advertising preparation and maintain required online postings.
- Maintain professional communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.

These are the Position Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of one year of leasing consultant or customer service or related experience. Multifamily apartment housing experience, preferred.
- Able to work weekends.
- Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 20lbs.
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) a plus!
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual – preferred.
