What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refurbishment Technician III position at AutoZone?
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Responsible to the MLSS Production Supervisor for performance of all tasks/duties required to execute the daily maintenance schedule for the MLSS Refurbishment Section. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Leads team of 2-10 technicians performing Launch Facility (LF) refurbishment and corrosion control.
- Performs pre- and post-dispatch activities including briefing, debriefing, equipment and vehicle inspection and inventory, and task technical reviews.
- Directs personnel to perform tasks in daily work package IAW governing directives.
- Ensures personnel are properly trained/certified for all tasks assigned. o Monitors task performance to ensure personnel safety and technical order compliance.
- Ensures all maintenance is properly documented in Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS); orders all required parts, equipment, and materials; and ensures all resources are properly inventoried and secured at the end of each workday.
- Performs corrosion control inspection, preventive maintenance, documentation and treatment to launch facilities, missile alert facilities, support equipment, and real property-installed equipment IAW the contract PWS and all applicable directives.
- Complies with conditions and requirements of 377th TEG PTO for abrasive blast and paint booth operations.
- Operates Boom Truck Cranes, Maintenance Trucks, Forklifts, and other heavy equipment as required.
- Installs, removes, cleans, and re-installs/replaces LF equipment and hardware.
- Performs crane/vehicle/equipment/material/supply inventories, inspection, cleaning and periodic maintenance.
- Oversees and manages all LF Refurbishment Section activities in the absence of the VTS Production Supervisor.
- Performs all other MLSS Refurbishment and Corrosion Control tasks as assigned.
- Performs operator care and minor CCT of company owned vehicles, cranes, and vehicular equipment.
