Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Seibi Paint Technician to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Job Description :
What you'll be doing :
- Online robot programming
- Sealer, UBC, and Dampening
- Run trials and adjust parameters
- Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
- Online robot Programming
- Primer, Base and Clear
- Run trials and adjust parameters
- Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
- Electrical Drawing Review
- Review electrical drawings for new Paint equipment installations.
- Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.
- Setting up new paint equipment. Calibrating systems to function as designed.
- Prepare and confirm new Paint equipment at vendor sites.
- Create Hand Over Documents
- Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC's
- Willingness to travel.
- Supports new model Paint Seibi projects in the , Canada, and Mexico.

- PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Omron, Toyopuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens)
- years technical degree or equivalent work experience
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
- Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus if you have :
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
- Experience with Kawasaki Robots, Fanuc Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting)
- Experience with Digital Engineering (Autocad, Catia, Solidworks, Inventor)
- Experience with Microcontroller programming
- Experience with manufacturing automation controls.
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
