What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Dietitian II position at Avance Care PA?
Avance Care is an industry leader in private sector integrated care. Avance started its first practice in 2008 and now has over 30 individual, integrated care clinics. We are growing throughout the state of North Carolina.
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team of talented and dedicated MDs, NPs/PAs, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and support staff at our Center of Excellence in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Avance provides integrated, whole person care in a collaborative environment and our team of highly engaged dietitians enjoy a supportive team environment.
This position will be primarily onsite but may include a combination of onsite and virtual care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with patients with eating disorders, required
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nutrition experience, highly preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Dietitian with the North Carolina Board of Dietetics and Nutrition
Our Clinical Dietitians:
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans using the nutrition care process, monitor on-going medical conditions, and provide nutrition education and counseling to patients.
- Provide appropriate nutrition and diabetes education and counseling services to individual patients, families, and groups
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and to identify education and nutritional needs of patients with nutrition-related medical conditions
- Contribute to the nutrition services department through work on other projects and program development efforts
- Precept interns
