Job Title – Registered Nurse
Contract - 54Weeks
Guaranteed Hours - 48hr
Pay rate - $70/hr. to $75/hr.
Shift – 11:30A- 10P
Experience - 1yr
Location –Ithaca, NY
Start - ASAP
NOTE- Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue

**CORRECTIONAL FACILITY**

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in ostomy care and management
- Experience with dermal fillers and cosmetic procedures
- Ability to triage patients based on their condition and urgency of care
- Skilled in specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with mammography screening and interpretation
- Competent in ventilating patients using appropriate equipment
- Experience administering injections accurately and safely
- Knowledge of family planning methods and counseling techniques

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [NY]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of [number] years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
