In this role, you will report to the Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

What we’re looking for
Education : High school diploma is required
Experience :
1-2 years of Customer service experience is required
1-2 years of Inventory Control experience is required
Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
Must be flexible, forward-thinking, & motivated
Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
Basic digital literacy including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will :
Utilize a handheld scanner to manage customer inventories.
Maintain and updates Standard Operating Procedures.
Execute additional inventory management tasks including overseeing slow-moving and obsolete stock, conducting cycle counts and annual inventories, and generating reports.
Operate Avantor and customer computer systems as part of job responsibilities.
Coordinate schedules with other associates.
Demonstrate flexibility in daily workflow, being open to performing additional tasks as needed.
Maintain a positive attitude and prioritizes customer service.
Handling hazardous chemicals and performing repetitive lifting of bottled chemicals.
Provide daily customer service functions and communicates with the customer relative to inventory management but not limited to order entry, reporting, maintaining metrics, and cost savings tracking.
Performs shipping coordination activities such as shipping customer material, handling routine issues and hazardous material, operating basic warehouse equipment, and entering shipping information into the customer computer system.
Responsible for leading consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned, or 3rd party inventory.
Deliver inbound packages to customer contacts.

Pay Transparency :
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$63,000.00 - $105,000.00
Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
