Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$109,000.00 - $181,000.00
Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.

What we're looking for:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, chemical/technical or related field.
Experience:
- 8 Years of related Supply Chain experience preferred; 3 years leadership experience preferred.
- Contract Negotiation experience.
- Global Supply Chain, Cost Reduction and Supply Chain Trouble shooting/Problem Solving experience desired.
- Experience in a regulated/complex chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
Certification(s):
- APICS/CPIM certification desirable.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to be a servant leader.
- Understanding of forecast and replenishment theory.
- Ability to travel up to 20% (as needed) between Carpinteria, CA and Bakersfield, CA offices.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS office suite (Excel, Access, Word).
- Expert knowledge and practical use of Forecasting and Inventory Planning tools; i.e. Logility, SAP, or equivalent.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
- Leads all Drop Ship, Core, Customer facing, Science Education, Services and other areas to develop both Strategic, Tactical and efficient plans supporting the needs of the customer while keeping the company's goal and cost in mind.
- Determines best processes to keep the supply chain efficient by removing barriers from beginning of order until payment is cleared. Authority to commit significant resource on behalf of company. Closely monitors variability.
- Applies appropriate mathematical and statistical tools to resolve complex business issues.
- Assesses network constraint issues, makes recommendations to reduce or eliminate constraints to leadership team and key stakeholders.
- Manages all DFS orders from inception through execution.
- Analyzes trends in Key Performance Indicators; allocates department resources to drive continuous improvement. Drives process standardization.
- Closely manages all relevant supply chain cost to maximize working capital. Proactively addresses dead and excess inventory and quarterly returns to suppliers.
- Manages the predicted impact of new product launches, product promotions, discontinuations and new vendor on boards.
- Analyzes Electronic data to and from suppliers making adjustments systematically or in processes to prevent fallout of data.
- Active mentoring, training and development, and performance management of direct reports.
