What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at Avensole Winery?
- Ensure each food item departs the kitchen promptly and accurately, as requested by our guest
- Tray passing: Delivering food orders from Kitchen to table
- Liaison between Kitchen and Front of restaurant
- Assisting Chefs and Kitchen personnel as needed
- Facilitating smooth lunch and dinner service by tending to guests promptly, communicating often, and understanding all restaurant positions, policies & procedures
- Professional appearance & demeanor at all times – especially when communicating with guests
- Keeping Kitchen work area clean & presentable
- Able to lift 30-50 pounds (for up to 8 hour shifts)
- Required: Food Handler’s Card
- Preferred: minimum 6 months-1 year Restaurant experience
