Accounting Coordinator | $18 - $22/hour Depending on Experience
Monday – Friday, 8a – 5pm
A locally owned and operated property restoration company in Sioux City, IA is looking for a self-motivated and goal-oriented Accounting Coordinator with exceptional customer service skills to join their growing team. The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for keeping financial records updated, processing and monitoring payments, tracking expenses, and collecting payments from customers. Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating databases and spreadsheets
- Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
- Scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase orders
- Insuring credits are received and issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
- Arranging payment plans
- Tracking expenses
- Creating reports and balance sheets
- Updating accounts and collecting payments
Requirements:
- 2 or more years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in a service-related industry is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
