Administrative Assistant $16-$17/hr
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
A local publishing company in Carroll, IA is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join their team! The position is responsible for all administrative tasks involved with an office setting. This includes data entry, accounts receivable, ordering supplies, and assisting customers, as well as any other administrative task involved with operating a facility.
Responsibilities:
- Daily use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerLink)
- Manage inventory of assets, supplies, documents, and files
- Sourcing suppliers/vendors
- Answer multi-line phones and have excellent phone skills
- Assist in daily operations and provide general office support
- Create purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory items
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years office manager or admin experience
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
- XA and PowerLink experience is a plus
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
