Part-Time weekend shift

This client is a manufacturing company based in Fairmont, MN; they are an innovator in animal nutrition. The company is dedicated to the research, development and manufacturing of quality premixes, pre-starters, starters and concentrates together with specialty products and solutions. Their principal objective is to develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, managers and staff while creating value with every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• The person will work with a R&D team in all areas of research and report to Swine Research Manager
  • The work hours are a schedule that may include weekend rotation when research is on-going
  • A major focus of this position will be on ensuring activities in our research barns are performed accurately (allotment, feeding, weighing, record keeping, barn works, etc)

  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to lift feed (about 50 lbs), feeders (about 60 lbs), weaned pigs (10 to 55 lbs), and apply about 100 lbs of force to move with the assistance of another person as needed
• Ability to work independently and in a team with safety as a priority
• Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented and a natural organizer
