IT Management Analyst (Technology Management)

AVER is seeking an IT Management Analyst (Technology Management) to assist in fulfilling and provisioning of IT hardware, software, and associated services to end users.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct product research, creating spreadsheets and SharePoint tools, and supports the processes used by other teams.

Work with field users to explain the hardware standards. Assist in the creation of Change Management requests to modify the standards or obtain exceptions for special requirements.

Assist end users and create technology documentation from user requests to include specifications, cost estimates, guidance on funding documentation, and justification for use in non-standard procurements.

Assist Government staff in updating tools to assist end users in identifying and placing IT equipment orders.

Coordinate with sites and vendors to develop details for complex equipment deliveries.

Assist staff in coordinating details for deliveries to sites that include installation services.

Utilize previous IT experience to understand hardware and software specifications from end users and find products that match.

Ensure receipt of the Purchase Order, confirm date of shipment, and advanced shipment notification. Contact the user post shipment and ensure that no issues were encountered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Familiarity with  Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and current IT equipment.
• Associate’s degree or at least 5 years’ experience.
• Position will be supporting a Federal agency which requires U.S. citizenship.
