Recruiter
Aver is looking to identify a Recruiter to join our rapidly growing IT and Management services firm. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and motivated to identify, recruit and hire top talent to support our federal government clients across the DHS, DoD, and the Veteran Affairs markets.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
-Identify qualified candidates that fit open position requirements.
-Source and review resumes using resume search engines and other databases.
-Conduct in-depth candidate phone screens based on personality, attitude, and technical qualifications including the ability to communicate the firm's value proposition.
-Schedule and coordinate interviews for hiring managers.
-Prepare and manage job postings on internal and external sites.
-Track candidate information using internal systems.
-Update management frequently on candidate status and open position sourcing.
-Issue offer letters and coordinate end-to-end employee onboarding.
-Conduct background investigation and reference checks on perspective employees.
-Assist in process improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and a positive candidate experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of recruiting experience
BA/BS degree is required
Ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance
Able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with candidates, staff and leadership team
Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills
Ability to prioritize tasks while staying organized and maintaining attention to detail
