Job Summary The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is accountable for greeting and registering patients, providing a patient-friendly experience. Answers the telephone, greets patients, creates and updates patient and insurance information in the system. Verifies and analyzes health insurance benefits, accepts co-payment and explains payment policies and billing/collections processes.## Refers messages to the appropriate person and schedules appointments using proper telephone/ customer service etiquette. Provides Avera Chart information to patients and assists as needed in signing up. Education and/or Experience Associates degree preferred. One to two years of experience preferred. Work Schedule Monday # Friday: 7:00am-5:00pm Wednesday # Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm Every 6th Saturday 8:45am-12:00pm 72 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
