What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECHO Technician (PRN) position at Avera?
Job Summary:
·The Sonographer (Echo Tech) is responsible to provide cardiac ultrasound scans as directed by the physician.
·Performs Echocardiograms, EKG's, Holter/Event monitor hookups, EECP treatments, and Telemedicine.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
·Graduate of an A.M.A. cardiovascular technology school and RDCS/RCS registry required.
·One year of experience preferred
·Must have a working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology
·ARDMS Registry/Certification required
·Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program
