Job Summary
The Admissions Specialist II is responsible for registering patients in a timely and accurate manner while performing all necessary procedures to establish accounts and medical record numbers.
The Admissions Specialist II verifies insurance coverage and limitations. They collect patient co-payments, deductibles and out of pocket expenses utilizing the deposit matrix / patient estimator and communicates this to the patient.
Education and / or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One to two years related experience in billing, insurance or registration preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Work Schedule
Night Shift Only
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $21.25 per hour
