Avera is seeking an Intern for Fall Internship!
Job Summary
An opportunity for undergraduate students to acquire comprehensive clinical experience within the realm of multidisciplinary solid-organ abdominal (kidney and pancreas) transplantation at Avera McKennan Hospital’s inpatient and outpatient services.
The goal of the program is to enable students interested in healthcare-oriented careers to observe and learn the roles of various disciplines in a composite healthcare team, and have an understanding of the day-to-day functioning of a multipart transplant team.
Education and / or Experience
- Applicant must be an actively enrolled undergraduate / graduate-level student.
- Applicant must demonstrate interest in pursuing advanced studies in any healthcare-related field.
- Interested students will submit applications into active internship posting at .
- Applicants will be invited for in-person / tele interviews prior to final selection.
- Applicants will be selected purely on the basis of their interest, commitment in seeking an enriching experience in clinical medicine and not scholastic achievements alone.
