Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) III looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- Under the direction and supervision of the Operative Services Director is directly responsible for performing circulating and/or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room; for providing nursing care to patients preoperatively, perioperatively, and postoperatively in support of care directed by the surgeon; for providing other assistance as required to the surgical team; and for acting in any nursing capacity as directed by the Operating Room Director and Coordinator.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associates at minimum.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure
Work Schedule
- Day shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional weekend (on call every 7-8th weekend, depends on staffing)
- Occasional holiday (on call every 7-8th holiday, depends on staffing)
- Occasional call time (on call 3-5 nights a month, depending on staffing)
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $30.50 - $45.25 per hour
