Objectives and responsibilities:
This role is a key team member that supports our Direct-To-Consumer Digital products as the lead UI/UX designer supporting our digital products, application development, global advertising and sales, and marketing teams. We are looking for a leader who is excited by building world-class digital designs and user-experiences centred around excellence, iteration, and innovation.
You are an effective communicator. You will partner with other members of the leadership team including the leaders of Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations. You believe in and can help nurture our values of curiosity, inclusiveness, and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Strong designer who is passionate about bringing ideas to life on digital.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity comps to communicate strong user interaction and the underlying story to our viewers over multiple-platforms, especially D2C and social.
- Create wireframes and prototypes with an emphasis on smart UX sensibility.
- Support all lines of business and external partners for D2C UI/UX design and manage tight deadlines.
- Sets standards, internally and externally for UI/UX and our brand
- Translates ideas to practical and sustainable implementation plans.
- Collaborate with creative leads throughout the company on content UX/UI interfaces from concept to execution.
- An enthusiastic brainstormer who arrives to creative conversations with ideas and solutions.
- Documents effectively and comprehensively
- Skillful in distilling complex ideas into engaging, unique and delightful user interfaces.
- Practice established team workflows and processes, while always looking to improve them.
Deliver successfully on multiple deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy and
- efficiency.
- Confidently present and explain design directions to your content partners.
- Work closely with art directors, creative developers, photo editors, and content partners throughout the creative process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience working within a creative studio, agency or media organization, or equivalent.
- Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- A portfolio, or equivalent experience, that demonstrate strong, layout, UX and storytelling that is mobile-first and is fluent across all DTC (Direct to Consumer) platforms: mobile, web, TVs, tablet, etc.
- Experience with video streaming applications from a UI/UX perspective.
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design for a broad audience, responsive design, mobile first, and web standards.
- Passion for storytelling and evoking emotion, equally through the design and content.
- Genuine curiosity for understand others and their perspectives.
- An innate problem solver that tackles ambiguity with creative thinking.
- Have a collaborative approach to your work.
- Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize, organize their own time, and consistently meet internal and external deadlines.
- A digital portfolio with a breath of digital work.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
