OBJECTIVE: To assure exceptional support to the communities providing, knowledge, guidance, and service to other management team members.
QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced knowledge in the operations of an Assisted Living, background in management, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-focus on several task and delivering positive outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Oversee the general health and performance of the community.
2.Has a positive attitude.
3.Monitors the operations of the community with a focus on resident and family satisfaction.
4.Provides support to the management team and assists with positive results.
5.Ensure all community open positions are filled in a timely manner.
6.Update and maintain policies and procedures, reporting requirements, housing rules and weather safety.
7.Conduct interviews and do new hire paperwork, background checks and reference checks.
8.Scheduling of employees and maintaining the appropriate numbers based on occupancy.
9.Assist in areas of financial management under direction of the CFO.
10.Maintain a good working relationship with families, residents, and medical professionals.
11.Knowledge of the MI Choice Waiver program and promote a positive working relationship with the waiver agencies.
12.Review all preparedness material for compliance.
13.Market to perspective outlets i.e. SNF’s, Doctors and develop a strong relationship with the community on a monthly basis. Develop relationships within the community.
14.Tour perspective residents and families.
15.Submit financial information as directed by the CFO.
16.Promote the facility by conducting community events along with the Activities Department.
17.Responsible for the maintenance of the facility, to allocate repairs and follow through on completion. Maintaining a maintenance budget.
18.Invoice residents monthly and follow through with overdue balances and resolution of overdue invoices and communication to the CFO
19.Proficient communication skills.
20.Assists with marketing development and community involvement.
21.Provides training when needed.
22.Assists with on-boarding of new management.
23.Will fill-in during extended leave-of-absence by management staff.
24.Exemplary computer skills.
25.On-call rotation with management team.
