Summary:
Responsible for the accurate reporting of, and validity of all financial information derived from all property entities. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff.
- Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership.
- Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement.
- Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands.
- Monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
- Enters advance depositions through LMS for group reservations.
- Journal Entries required for monthly closing, recording revenue and accruing expenses into the proper time period.
- Daily operations reporting.
- Credit Card Reconciliation.
- Produces key team member list, quarterly count team list, annual drop/count times, regulation 5.05 quarterly participation list of vendors to NGCB.
- Tax preparation for payment of Sales, Room, RV, Entertainment and Retail Liquor Tax.
- Annual Reporting to outside entities including:
- IRS - 1099'S
- Key control/ Key Watcher inventory.
- Produces monthly Marketing comparison report.
- Records all Fixed Asset, CIP's, depreciation on assets and reconciles monthly.
- Monthly charts for financial comparisons.
- Permanent Bankroll.
- Schedules cage count twice per year; MIC 67 credit audit three times per year.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College courses with emphasis in Finance or Accounting, with at least three (3) years of experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (all software components), payroll, SDS, FRX, CMP, MMS, Kamp site, Great Plains, LMS & Infogenesis preferred.
- Ability to develop & change spreadsheets in the following including macros & formulas: Excel, & Report Generator.
- Highly developed presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- The primary language spoken and written is English.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the internal business community.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and objectively draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of legal and technical instructions in text, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
