Medicaid Eligibility Coordinator responsibilities and duties:
Reports to Director of Operations.
Directs the daily activities of Medicaid staff.
Coordinates account inventories to be reported weekly to Director of Operations.
Coordinates coverage as needed when an employee is out the office due to illness or vacation.
Conduct staff training.
Problem solve operational issues.
Meets department goals as assigned by management.
Supervise a group of 2 to 3 employees.
Self-Pay Account Coordinator qualifications and skills
5 plus years of Medicaid Eligibility Operations.
5 plus years managing staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with database software and MS Office suite.
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
