Job Posting for Junior Investment Advisor at Avior Executive Search

Independent multi-disciplinary wealth management services firm. It is a true fiduciary with a clear goal of providing its clients with a full array of solutions. Boreal has a global presence with branches located in Switzerland and USA.

 

To support our strong expansion plans, we are seeking a Junior Investment Advisor for our Miami offices.

 

Provide support to the firm’s bankers and senior advisors

  1. Assist in the execution of client orders
  2. Generation, follow up and implementation of investment proposals
  3. Portfolio management of discretionary mandates
  4. General investment/sales support
  5. Generation of investment ideas (Stocks, Bonds, FX, Funds and Structured Products)
  6. Distribution of investment content (Investment Policy, Fund List, Structured Products in subscription, etc.)
  7. Investment risk control (risk limits, overdrafts, etc.)

 

Contribution to BCM group's investment content

  1. List of recommended Funds, Equities and Bonds
  2. Model portfolios
  3. Investment policy
  4. Thematic notes
  5. Product approval

 

Other tasks

  1. Counterparty management (funds and structured products)
  2. Representing BCM in product/ investment presentations and seminars
  3. Production of accounting and financial information (trade log, product statistics, etc.)

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BA/ MSc in Finance, Economics or BA, with a focus on financial markets
  • CFA Level I
  • Excellent skill is in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bloomberg knowledge
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish. Portuguese would be advantageous
