Paraplanner – £28,000 to £35,000 Home based / Remote This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in a sales support/paraplanner role within a financial advice team and has a good understanding of the financial planning process and requirements. You will have a strong analytical mind and enjoy problem solving, whilst being keen to develop and expand your technical knowledge with a willingness to adapt to change. You will enjoy working individually but also as part of a team when working to set timescales. As well as being good at building relationships and an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written communication. A bit about the job: In this role, you will be working with advisers and other stakeholders within the Aviva financial advice team to support all of the steps in a customer advice journey. This will involve collating customer information and preparing appropriate technical analysis. You will work alongside the adviser to construct a recommended solution and prepare suitability reports in preparation for presentation meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring business is completed in a timely fashion and meets compliance requirements. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma or working towards as a minimum. An understanding of the financial planning process and requirements. Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Articulate in dealing with customers and stakeholders, verbally and within written communications. Ability to work independently and within a team. This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
