This is a great opportunity for an internship supporting the Operations team in Ann Arbor, MI. AVL Mobility Technologies is searching for interns who are flexible and able to adapt to support all areas of the operations team. Qualified candidates for consideration must be working towards achieving an applicable engineering or technical degree. In addition, AVL is looking for candidates with strong communication skills, who are proactive and enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The internship position will be short-term with flexible hours - earlier start time by 7 am is recommended. The internship is a good way to introduce an individual to the company.
The intern position is paid hourly and eligible for AVL's 401K account benefit. No other benefits are received in the intern position.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Employer will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
Roles:
- Weighing SPC filters and providing data.
- Provide the data in a quick and timely manner.
- Maintain clean room environment.
- Expand on processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Desire to learn
- Working toward applicable degree
- Willingness to start at the entry/beginning phases to learn processes and functions of the department they are assigned to
- High School diploma
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Completion of 2 years of a college curriculum leading to a degree in Engineering
