We are currently seeking a RN / LPN Team Leader, specializing in long-term care. This individual must have the ability to empower and motivate employees, assess resident care needs, have excellent clinical skills and proficiency in time management and organizational skills.
RN/LPN Team Leader responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete all necessary reports as required by the Director of Nursing.
- Report any problems that arise to the Director of Nursing and aide in developing/implementing a proper care plan.
- Provide direct care as needed.
- Review nurses notes to make sure proper documentation is maintained related to treatment.
- Make rounds with physicians as needed and ensure proper records are maintained.
- Supervise the staff on unit to ensure proper delivery of care.
- Make sure all physicians are informed in changes of resident's condition and follow orders as directed.
- Assist nursing staff with the admission process and review that all assessments are complete and accurate.
Team Leader requirements:
- RN / LPN license
- Managerial experience in long term care setting

Experience:
- Managerial in long term care setting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- RN / LPN (Required)
