Control Panel Test Technician’s in Eden Prairie, MN | $35.00/Hour
Our Control Panel Test Technician’s workweek is Monday to Friday with hours starting at 07:00 am until 04:00 pm This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $35.00/Hour and is a Temp-to-hire opportunity.
Control Panel Test Technician Requirements and Qualifications –
- 2 years of experience testing panels
- Prior panel building is preferred but not required
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Knowledge of electrical circuits both AC and DC, 3-phase and single-phase
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite – word, excel, Teams
- Knowledgeable in Allen-Bradley software such as RSLinx, RSLogix preferable but not required
- History of longevity with prior employer/s
- High School diploma or high school equivalent
Control Panel Test Technician Duties and Responsibilities –
- Follow test procedures as written
- Testing control panels for accuracy per provided drawings
- Enter parameters into VFDs
- Testing analog circuits
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, wiring, and functionality of devices
- Work with electrical voltage up to 480 volts VAC
- Write test programs for forcing I/O
- Use tools such as a voltmeter and process calibrator
- Knowledge of UL 508A standards is preferable but not required
- Follow safety protocols
