Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
AWARE’s LCPC / LCSW works primarily on site in a school setting with emotionally disturbed youth. You may also work with families in the home and with other agency professionals to meet the needs of youth and families. You will develop and implement a service plan and individual treatment plan. You will assess the clinical needs of youth and families and makes treatment recommendations and intervention suggestions to other members of the support team. Will provide outpatient therapy, including individual, group, and family therapy to youths.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
• An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• At least one (1) year direct work experience.
• Must be licensed or licensable as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana.
• A clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and have learning differences.
• An ability to assess youth and their families from a strengths perspective.
• Ability to work with a variety of people using strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possible NHSC slot, continuing education credits, clinical supervision and other licensure assistance available.
