Millwrights Needed in Kilgore, TX!!!!
Hours: Monday- Friday 5am-5pm
Position Overview:
Repairs, maintains, and facilitates installation of industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.
Compensation: $20-25/hr
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools
- Uses hand tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines
- Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines
- Operates engine lathe to adjust machine parts to dimensional specifications
- Disassembles or dismantles machines
- Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints
- Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise
- Performs preventive maintenance makes repairs on older machines
- Provides advice and recommendations to management concerning new machinery
- Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery, which may include building platforms and foundations
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience required
