Position Summary:
Assist with the division accounting activities for the assigned region. Assist Accounting staff in analyzing financial statements, providing weekly and period reporting to management, preparing period end journal entries, and account reconciliations. Responsible for review of transactions on a daily and weekly basis. Work collaboratively with business partners from all levels of management to ensure a clear and concise understanding of the financial results and corresponding drivers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Timely preparation, analysis, and review of weekly financials.
- Assist Division Staff with the review of period end financial results and financial variance analysis
- Accurate and timely completion of account reconciliations in compliance with company policy
- Knowledge of various systems and software in order to translate financial impact
- Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving accounting guidance, collaborating across the organization to ensure consistencies and synergies in processes and controls
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of SCM, PeopleSoft and Monarch preferred.
- Work effectively in developing and maintaining productive working relationships with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to relocate may be necessary for future advancement opportunities at our corporate or division offices.
