Global Claims Data Delivery Lead

As we develop a Global Claims data and analytics strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and data driven insights, we are seeking a Global Claims Data Delivery Lead. This is a hands-on delivery leader role managing a team of data/BI analysts offshore that also contributes directly to efforts to produce data analytics and insights.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Lead the Data Delivery Team to develop and deliver data and reporting needs for Strategic Data Transformation and Analytical Insights
- Provide direction and guidance on requirements to enabling analysis and data development
- Plan, prioritize, and provide effective capacity management for backlog items in both strategic and analytical efforts
- Collaborate with the Innovation, Data and Analytics (IDA) team to deliver planned initiatives
- Support analysis and provisioning of data as needed to enable insight generation
- Conduct POCs to prove business value of identified use cases and project initiatives with Data Science / Artificial Intelligence teams
- Support ad hoc requests that fall outside of the BAU support model
- Support data quality and governance initiatives
- Contribute to the development and execution of data strategy that supports analytics, including data infrastructure, analytic capabilities, data delivery, and operational reporting
- Manage and direct ad-hoc data requests, helping business customers leverage self-serve reporting and providing solutions for more complex information requests.
- Maintain, adapt, and enhance business analytics tools (including Excel and Power BI, Power Pivots)
- Champion of existing reporting solutions, driving adoption and enhancements and promoting a data driven culture.
- Conduct quantitative analysis of operational activity, business trends and initiatives to inform enhancements in the areas of product, operations, and customer engagement.
- Perform diagnostics, forecasting, predictive and prescriptive analytics with findings that directly influence business decisions.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Global Claims Data & Analytics.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related fields preferred
- Intermediate experience leading a data delivery team
- Hands-on experience with data and business intelligence tools. Specific experience with MS Power BI is preferred.
- Experience working within a data driven culture with advanced modeling and AI solutions – development of use cases, defining data needs, performing analysis to firm up ideation for POCs, and validating solutions as they are built and implemented.
- Experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, VBA) used to develop analysis data sets
- Analytical curiosity and mindset, with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to tackle complex business challenges
- Experience working within Large Accounts and Specialty Insurance or Claim organizations a plus

The U.S. pay range for this position is $118,500 – $233,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
