Overview
QuantiTech is seeking Training Evaluator-Journeyman candidates to assist the 27 Special Operations Wing (27 SOW) at Cannon AFB, NM to meet operational readiness and sustain in-place forces to fulfill worldwide Combatant Commander (COCOM) missions.
Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The Training Evaluator must be knowledgeable of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) training and certification programs.
- The Training Evaluator must be able to maintain 200 - 400 training records. The role is responsible for scheduling and tracking aircrew member training events as identified in applicable Air Force (AF) regulations, to include mission and aircraft transitions (i.e. MQ-1 to MQ-9 transition).
- The Training Evaluator must be familiar with AF upgrade training that includes ordering and administering enlisted Career Development Courses, scheduling End-of-Course test dates and maintaining all OJT records for 5 and 7-level upgrade trainees. Working with military members, the Training Evaluator is responsible for monitor training folders.
- The Training Evaluator must provide status of all current folders and provide them as a formatted deliverable that is continuously updated. They shall assist in ensuring folders are current, track leadership's priority for training, and stay current on upcoming deployment schedules for individuals in a training status and ensure timely qualification of crew members.
- The Training Evaluator is responsible for generating the multiple reports and forms as required: AF Form 4324, Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheet; Monthly and quarterly Rated Aircrew Performance (RAP) reports and provide these RAP inputs to Wing Operations Support Squadron (OSS) Training each quarter; 20-month and end-of-cycle training report. Produce monthly summary of aircrew probation/regression status. The Training Evaluator reviews and updates student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs IAW (AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDSV1), associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements,
- In addition to their normal duties, individuals that perform this role may also be responsible for one or more additional tasks concurrently in support of other functions as needed. These tasks include but are not limited to: tactics; techniques and procedures; aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, life support equipment, exercise management; mobility requirements; budget development and management; exercise plans; airfield planning and management; weapons and tactics; range development and management; aircrew training and tracking; standardization of Operating Instructions (OIs); guidance; regulations; pre-deployment; oversight and coordination; and facility utilization.
- The position requires flexibility and the ability to shift priorities and workloads based on mission changes. Successful candidates must have an in-depth knowledge of AF and Special Operations Forces (SOF) organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities. Training Evaluator requires minimum supervision. Candidate must have the ability to make decisions in support of daily operations and the work to be performed in accordance with contract requirements. .
- Candidates must be efficient in the use of Microsoft Office (predominantly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). The efficient use of AF standard software suites, such as Patriot Excalibur, MiLPDS, and ADLS is also required.
- Candidate must possess strong oral and written skills and be able to assist and make recommendations to Government officials based on functional duty expertise. They also must be able to track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral and written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government officials.
Qualifications
The position requires at least one (1) year of background experience as an aircrew member on Special Operations Forces (SOF) aircraft, with a degree of understanding and knowledge of SOF aircrew procedures to include tactics, techniques and procedures, aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, life support equipment, exercise management, and mobility requirements.
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience OR
- Associates Degree with 5 years of experience OR
- Masters Degree with 2 years of experience OR
- High School Diploma with 6 years of experience
- Must be able to assist and make recommendations to Government Officials based on functional duty expertise
- Must be able to track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral and written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government Officials
