Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Create and monitor general ledger and bank balances for daily balancing to the factoring system (Cadence), working with the banks accounting group and appropriate departments as needed, and reviewing/uploading NuPoint entries in the process to ensure accuracy.
- Reconciliation and verification of all factoring and interest fees reported for the factoring and ABL division.
- Reconciliation of bank statements and cash receipts for the factoring and ABL division.
- Reporting (daily, weekly and monthly) for headquarters, management, prospects and clients (as needed).
- Reconciling and reporting daily bank reports for lockbox collections and receipts, running daily bank reports and preparing funds transfer information for daily lockbox collection wires.
- Receive, sort, scan and code all bills received daily and processing for the appropriate approvals and payments for all bills within the factoring and ABL division.
- Primary verifier for daily client wires.
- Track monthly charges for prospective clients not in Cadence to charge to client reserve once prospect is set up in Cadence system and ensure all expenses have been retroactively collected and charged to the prospects as appropriate.
- Run, save and send as needed month end reports for portfolio and financial reporting.
- Prepare various spreadsheets for month end reporting needs that are then included in management, committee and board level reporting to the bank.
- Split broker reports by those to be paid out and those to be added to payroll, forwarding for approval and ensure that broker and employee commissions are reported timely and accurately providing reports to the necessary parties involved.
- Ensure month end charges are charged to the clients, including monitoring for credit reports, legal and administrative charges, minimum charges, and other fees that need to be captured/charged/reported and that those are reported in Cadence as needed.
- Update end of month exception report for financial reporting and related reports if necessary for NFE tracking, etc.
- Act as key facilities manager for vendor management, office and facilities management, security access administrator and other office related responsibilities with landlord and other parties, etc.
- Sort and scan all daily work and wires once balancing has been done, saving to the shared drive folders and preparing saved work to be shredded for proper disposal.

Working Conditions
- Typical office environment. Minimal physical effort required, normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the assigned location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.

Qualifications Summary
Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience required; public accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience with general accounting, financial analysis and the processes and procedures within a banking environment is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be highly organized with excellent time management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and develop staff.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Possess and exhibit an exemplary level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Maintain a strong focus on continuous process improvement.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the finance/accounting department.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial stat.ements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, various accounting packages and financial models is preferred.
- CSI NuPoint and Cadence knowledge preferred.
