Job Posting for Logistics Project Manager at Axis Global Logistics
Axis Global Logistics, a leading third-party logistics provider is currently seeking a Project Manager. The position will manage multiple projects for various clients.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager serves as a point of contact between clients and team members. He/she is required to plan, direct, coordinate all project activities, as well as manage related project goals, budgets and deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinate all related project management and project planning activities including but not limited to: sourcing labor, tracking projects, bid proposals, coordinate with exterior vendors, purchase orders, follow up with clients, transportation, installation, etc.
2. Coordinate project execution to facilitate adherence to scope, budget and schedule.
3. Generate labor and materials quotes to assist sales team, as well as ensuring quality and accuracy of each project.
4. Ensure all project management tools and systems are updated
5. Review and generate incoming/outgoing requests for information, proposals, quotes and invoices.
6. Monitor project related profitability.
7. Communicate daily with internal and external parties.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders of each project.
9. Administrative functions related to projects and project management.
10. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years related experience
- Solid experience with Creative Software: Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Software Sketchup and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining Schedule, prepare and participate in project meetings
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
