Job Posting for Staff CNC Programmer at Axis Product Development, Inc
We are a growing Job shop / Low volume production CNC machine shop in need of an experienced Staff CNC programmer. We are looking for an individual with the following experiences:
Creating NC programs and proving out manufacturing process for 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
Advanced background of new HAAS controls - Extremely familiar with operating the machine
Designing fixtures / Workholdings for efficient machining (Maximizing the table space)
Familiar with pallet system design for production volume quantities (Using Mitee bites and machining clamps)
Experienced with CNC machine setup, operation and program troubleshooting
Familiar with HAAS probing (tool/work offset)
Knowledge of high precision machining using a variety of materials
Advanced Knowledge of speed, feed, and cutting tools for variety of material
Comfortable meeting tight tolerances ( /- .001”)
Motivated, honest, and dependable
Familiar with using QC equipment to validate parts against drawings
Familiar with basic machine maintenance procedures (Optional)
Ability to lift up 65 lbs (Moving work holdings / Vise / Raw Material)
Must have 15 years of programming experience in MasterCam

Plastics (Delrin, ABS, PTFE, PEEK, PC,….)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
