The Position:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs for Axis Residential employees. You will act as an advocate to existing employees throughout their tenure with the organization. In this role, you will provide guidance in employee relations, performance management, benefits, and systems support.
- Collaborate with leadership and the HR team to create positive employee engagement and maintain a people-focused company culture.
- Spearhead employee engagement and wellness programs– creation, implementation, and ongoing management of programs.
- Provide support to managers on HR initiatives and employee issues, including employee relationship management, investigations, performance management, new policy/program rollouts, and general inquiries.
- Monitor employee morale, look for opportunities and bring creative solutions to ensure team synergy and engagement.
- Develop and update company policies and programs as organizational needs require.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements related to HR and Payroll (i.e., EEO, FLSA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA).
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Fair Housing laws.

- 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with strong experience in employee relations.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Google-Suite, HRIS systems (UKG/Ulti-Pro is a bonus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle.
