Job Summary and Opportunity
We provide the financial advisor community with compelling products and services to compliment and enhance their business/mission. Working through a business to business distribution channel, we promote, educate, empower and incentivize our partners to leverage their relationship capital delivering new client relationships. In aggregate, these business clusters deliver significant client portfolios that are consistent with the Bank’s overall strategy. The Axos Premier business provides seamless private banking and deposit services to the mass affluent market, defined as consumers with a net worth between $1M --$3M. This market segment is currently underserved by the larger banks, who typically demand over $5M in investable assets for private banking services. The mass affluent demographic also fits well with a branchless banking model as they are typically made up of white collar professionals and business owners within an average age range between 35 55. Most own one or more homes, hold six months in cash reserves and have an income over $200,000. By offering personalized services through a dedicated relationship manager with lower fees and higher rates, Axos Premier will be well positioned to capture more of this market.Responsibilities
- Collect and review new account applications and documentation required to determine if they are within the Bank's risk tolerance guidelines and assign applications to Relationship Managers as appropriate
- Partner with Relationship Managers and collaborate with internal partners to ensure exceptional client experience
- Perform due diligence on new small business deposit account applications, to asses risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations
- Manage the external email inbox for Small Business Banking and resolve/respond as needed and or assign the email to the Relationship Manager for the relationship
- Manage inbound customer service cases and ensure a timely response as well as adequate resolution
- Act as the Small Business Banking SME to make recommendations and lead procedural and process enhancement initiatives for the group
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- 1 year's experience in financial services in a support/processing capacity
- Exposure to working with businesses in a financial services environment
- Fundamental knowledge of banking regulations
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Competency using MS Office Suite
