A targeted annual base salary of USD $47,000/Yr. - USD $65,000/Yr, based on the experience, skills, and education/certification required for this position. Eligibility for a discretionary semi-annual incentive compensation plan, based upon performance, payable in cash and/or share grants (RSU’s) that may vest over time. The annual discretionary target bonus percentage is 20%.

Axos Bank is seeking a Visual Designer 1 to help us transform the way we interact with our customers. This person will be key in supporting the needs of various business units to deliver assets that drive engagement and significantly improve customer experience in innovative ways. This position is on-site and will be located at our HQ in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Address opportunities related to customer engagement within the consumer financial space.
- Execute using the Axos UX design process.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and UX to create production ready content.
- Create branded experiences for our mobile and web applications.
- Contribute to and promote the use of our design system.
- Create Marketing material (both digital and print).
- Create Digital product design.
- Some video creation and editing
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a design study, or equivalent experience
- 1 years' design for web & mobile, or outstanding portfolio
- Must have a live portfolio
- Knowledge of Figma or Sketch
