We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Team Manager to join our marketing team. As our Sales Development Team Manager at Axway, you will be managing a team of 4 BDRs following up on inbound leads and 7 SDRs in charge of actively prospecting specific lists of accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong business focus, leadership skills and motivation to grow the pipeline.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage a team of 4 BDRs and 7 SDRs. This number will evolve with the business.
  • Performance manage the team to ensure they are driving success via agreed metrics (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Hit weekly, monthly & quarterly quotas and targets - a key measure of success
  • Ensuring timely follow-up with leads
  • Provide day to day coaching & professional development, including weekly 1:1 meetings, weekly shadow sessions, and routine objection handling
  • Understand the nuances between verticals within our ideal customer profile segments
  • Continue to grow the team through recruiting, onboarding, and training new BDRs and SDRs.
  • Track and communicate weekly activity to other Marketing and Sales teams.

Qualifications

 

  • 3 years of experience managing sales development teams, 2 years of experience in the software industry
  • Previous experience in promoting software/technical solutions
  • A track record of problem-solving and fearless with trying new ideas and concepts
  • Ability, knowledge, and hunger to step in as player-coach on a daily basis that includes tactical management of reps, inbound calls & shadows, and knowledge in SFDC operations
  • Self-motivated, team player with a can-do attitude, able to drive a competitive team, high energy
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills
  • Previous Sales, call center and/or telemarketing experience
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Linkedin Sales Navigator effectively
  • Fluency in English
  • A relevant university degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science is required
