Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Technical Training Specialist and develop training courses and content, as well as provide technical training for the System Protection Control Engineers Technical Training Program. This continuing education program focuses on individuals who have strong fundamental skills and require continued deeper education for maintaining the Protection, Control, and Instrumentation systems used within an electric transmission systems environment.
This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.41) is $35.95 - $43.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Educational Design, Education Training and Development, Technical Training, Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field is required.
5 years of experience providing technical training support is required.
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Advanced SharePoint skills, sufficient to: create and manage repositories, calendars, workspaces, and tracking lists.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Experience providing technical training or running a technical training program that supports transmission system or electrical equipment.
