Position Summary:
Provide capacity to the AZEK Corporate Accounting and Reporting functions while learning the industry and individual function roles. This position will support management in reporting and analyzing the consolidated financial performance of the Company’s various operating divisions. Also includes participation in the month-end accounting close process and ensuring the Company’s adherence with generally accepted accounting principles and SOX controls.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare review journal vouchers and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financials and conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and quarterly close.
- Support internal and external financial audit requests.
- Prepare footnote disclosures for our Q3 SEC 10-Q filing.
- Prepare financial statement and footnote disclosure tie-outs.
- Maintain appropriate internal control safeguards over financial reporting as required.
- Performs other assignments as directed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Graduate. Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or Finance.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and common database reporting tools. Experience using tools such as JDE, Tableau, or Hyperion Essbase.
