Facilities/Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Oversight: Manage and oversee the daily maintenance activities for all equipment, machinery, and building systems. Ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of machinery.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns. Coordinate and oversee emergency repairs as needed to minimize production disruptions.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Schedule and manage regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and coordinate emergency response plans. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the facility budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Prepare and present reports on facility expenditures and maintenance activities.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement and monitor systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Identify and address areas for improvement within the facility.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in industrial machinery and systems.
- Proven experience in leading a maintenance team and managing maintenance projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to address equipment issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $102,000 in our lowest market up to $109,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
