Electronics Repair Technician (tester)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Start Date: 2 Week Paid Training

R-2 certified, electronics refurbishing company, with a warehouse in Oakwood Village, OH is looking for a technician, who could handle wide variety of consumer electronics customer returns. The Technician will be responsible to test and process consumer electronics returns, this includes small speakers, consoles, laptops, and more. The person in this position should understand that product received into this area requires their dedicated attention and a timely disposition.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Work to refresh/rework product for resale

· Inventory Control, including ordering spare parts.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with returned product

· Test refurbished items and assure that they are functional for sale and if not, follows proper procedures for disposition of defective product

· Replaces defective parts and completes preventative maintenance as required

· Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and/or damage by the customer

· Organize work place and keep a clean work environment at all times

· Keeps up to date computer records and completes necessary paperwork for all repairs and dispositions

· Attention to detail, tracks product and assures movement through the repair or disposition process in a timely and efficient manner.

· Performs other related duties as required, such as warehouse support

Qualifications and Skills:

· Assembling and reassembling of electronics

· Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing

· Computer skills

· Using hand tools

· Soldering Skills

· Understanding electronics and inner workings of items

Ideal candidates must comprehend and use reliable tools and information systems to collect and document equipment performance to resolve problems to the root cause. Paying close attention to detail and consistently maintain a steady work output under deadlines. Pay: $17.00 per hour
